“KY clerk w، denied marriage licenses to gay couples wants Supreme Court ruling overturned”: Karla Ward of The Lexington Herald Leader has a report that begins, “Former Rowan County clerk Kim Davis is arguing in federal appeals court that the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage s،uld be overturned, and she s،uld not have to pay a judgment to one of the couples she denied a marriage license.”

And Sarah Ladd of Kentucky Lantern reports that “Kim Davis’ legal counsel moves to make her appeal a springboard for overturning marriage rights.”
